Adolescent Care
Adolescence is the transitional phase of growth and development. The world health organisation (WHO) defines an adolescent as any person between ages 10 and 19. Adolescent care includes treatment of menstrual problems such as abnormal menstrual bleeding and menstrual cramps/pains, advice on contraception and protection against sexual transmitted infections (STI’s) for those who are sexually active.
